I loaded the Esky sim provided with the dummy transmitter and it ran no problem on Vista. When you get it working do a google search and you’ll find there are plenty of extra free models you can download from various sites that are much better than those included with the software.
My overall view on FMS though is that it is far too easy. I thought I was doing really well on FMS then I got a copy of Clearview (which can be downloaded for only $39.99 and includes loads of models, especially if you select ‘download latest models from the menu’) and found it so much more difficult…and hence nearer to flying the real thing. For the little it cost I would say it’s well worth it.

I have had an E Sky Lama V4 since last August, but have not flown it yet. Today, I tried using the simulator and got the “FMS.exe has stopped working” message. When I clicked on the URL above, I reached a foreign site and did not understand anything there. The second time I tried I reached the same foreign site with a option to play an adult video game. Unfortunately, I do not know how to make registry entries in my system (Alienware Dual Processor running Win 7 Ultimate). Any chance there is another site with the solution in detained english?
